Hi there…

To the person reading this right now, You Are Awesome! Hey guys, I’m finally taking the plunge and doing a blog/website again. I’ve been through so many blogs before, that I just lost the motivation to write and keep going, so it just faded away. I really do wish I would’ve started way sooner, and I could’ve done something with it by now, but things happen for a reason. In the past 2 years or so, I have finally figured out a purpose for my life and for my social media presence. Yeah, I’m on social media way too much, but I’m learning new things everyday. It does eventually pay off. I’ve always had a passion for writing, but it sure has been a struggle for about 3 or so years trying to write my first book. I think now I have a good idea of what I want to write, and I’m officially in the process of writing my first book. Just have to take some time this weekend and focus and just start writing. I also love making videos because it’s just something fun to do. I first started on youtube in 2010 I believe, and had a channel for a very short time, but deleted it after a while, so it was short-lived. Then in 2011, I created another channel, but didn’t upload my first video until may 2012. I used to be real shy, so it took me a while to figure out that I loved doing it. But I did that channel for 2 years, I even got up to 6k and 5k views just on a couple videos. But in 2014, I ended that channel, the videos are still up, because I didn’t feel right deleting all those videos because it’s nice to look back at them from time to time. But it was December 2014, that I created my current channel and didn’t upload til January 2015. It took me a year and a half just to reach 100 subscribers. But I was okay with that. Youtube isn’t just an overnight success. It doesn’t always work that way. You have to work hard and earn it. I mostly used my phone to film and edit my videos, which I still do, and there are some amazing apps to help you edit. I’m planning to invest in a Macbook and a nice video camera, so I can start making my videos better quality and possibly gain more subscribers. I now have 208 subscribers and I’m very grateful for the people that watch my channel and my quirkiness and craziness in my videos, especially when you have a toddler. My little boy turned 3 in February, and it’s fun capturing those sweet moments that he does and posting them online, so I can share with others whats it like being a single parent raising a little boy and sharing those milestones. He actually now has his own channel too, so the videos that are on my channel are still there. But I decided to create his own little channel, and I just film and edit and post there. It’s sweet that he loves the things I do. I can’t wait to see what will happen in our lives, and what we’ll grow up to be. It took me a while to figure out my purpose on youtube and on the Internet, and I think that’s why my motivation faded away from my old channel, because I didn’t know my purpose then. The tagline I came up with for my current channel is this; I create. I organize. I talk. I sing. I inspire. By doing these things, I want to inspire others to do the things they love, whether they’re doing either of those things or something else they have a passion for. What’s holding you back? Yes, things will get in the way sometimes, but if you have a true passion for something you love, you will figure out how to make time. I know I’m home all the time now, so nothing is holding me back now. Yeah, I’m struggling with my finances at the moment, but things will figure themselves out and I will get back on my feet. (No pun intended) If you want to know more about an injury that happened at my work, I can post that separately or you can go to my Instagram and you’ll see a photo of my foot telling you what happened. Anyway, I apologize for writing such a long post. It just goes to show that I can write, I just need to take the time and focus on it more. Do you what you want in life and just go for it…
